Paul Gauerke

Paul and his wife, Sherri, began attending Discovery Church in 2010 at its original east-side St. Cloud location. In 2011, Paul and his entire family were baptized and became members of Discovery.

Over the past 15 years, Paul has faithfully served the church in a variety of roles, including four terms on the Elder Board. He also served as AWANA Commander for four years, contributed to the steering committee for the inaugural Celebrate Minnesota event in St. Cloud, and remains active in the Christian Business Men’s Connection. Together, Paul and Sherri have led numerous small groups and continue to serve on Discovery’s Welcome Team.

Paul and Sherri have three adult children and a daughter-in-law. Sherri serves as the Teaching Leader for Bible Study Fellowship, which meets weekly at Discovery during the school year. In 2026, Paul retired as President of North Central Bus and Equipment and now serves part-time as a consultant, allowing him to devote more time to ministry opportunities.
